Our facility consists of three different phases of accommodation to suit our resident’s needs. These phases are defined as Independent Living, Retirement Home Living, and Assisted Living.

Phase 1: Independent Living
Independent Living is suited for seniors who are able to live independently without much support. This phase is for those who do not require daily support but want to have a community-based lifestyle and take advantage of our luxurious facilities, participate in fun activities and make wonderful friendships all in one place.
Resident suites are one- or two-bedroom apartments with full kitchen and bathrooms. Tenants cook their own meals and maintain their own apartments while having access to on-site amenities, full utilities, and emergency care services. This low maintenance lifestyle allows active seniors to maintain privacy within a community atmosphere.
Phase 2: Retirement Home Living
Retirement Home Living is also designed with residents’ independence in mind while including additional help and access to medical care. This includes all the same accommodations and liberties as Independent Living with more security and mindfulness of your health needs.
Resident accommodations consist of studio units and one- or two-bedroom suites. Its all-inclusive package incorporates full utilities, access to 24-hour attendant care, medication dispensing, light housekeeping, recreational amenities, and 3 meals a day.
Phase 3: Assisted Living
Assisted Living is for those who want to participate in a community-based lifestyle but need more support. This provides a home environment with added personal care services for seniors needing additional help.
Residents have the same all-inclusive package as Retirement Home Living, plus personal care by dedicated care staff, which includes assistance with dressing, bathing, grooming, and medication.
Residents receive their own private room and bathroom and are encouraged to make use of all social spaces on their wing, such as the dining room, activity area, and the sunroom.

Each residence has in-suite controlled heating and air conditioning. Riverdale Terrace also offers housekeeping services for its retirement & Assited Living residents.

Meals
- 3 meals per day plus access to snacks, 7 days a week. Tray Service available when authorized by the Director of Care. All other meal service requests are pay-per-use.
- Therapeutic diets are available, upon authorization of a physician.
